Before joining investment42 as a co-founder, Henning worked as management consultant in the field of Strategy and M&A for TMT companies throughout Europe.
Henning has been accompanying the strategic development of companies since 2004 both as an adviser at ADL and as Head of Strategy, for example at Versatel AG.
Until 2013, Henning headed the strategy and M&A department of Versatel AG, Germany’s largest alternative fibre-based telecommunications carrier, where he was responsible for all M&A activities of the company, the strategic setup and development as well as company-wide corporate and business development projects.
Prior to his engagement at Versatel, he worked as management consultant in the TIME practice (Telecommunications, IT, Media, Electronics) of top management consultancy Arthur D. Little.
Henning gained a master's degree in business (Dipl.-Kfm.) from University of Duisburg as well as an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (USA).
He is a German citizen and speaks fluent English and has basic knowledge of French and Hungarian.
