investment42 invested in MIVITEC in May 2016, alongside the founder Alex Mirsky. MIVITEC is based in Munich and provides IT services such as cloud services, (managed) hosting, application hosting, backup services, IT-outsourcing and colocation to the ”Mittelstand”. Alex founded MIVITEC in 2003 in Sinzing (Regensburg, Germany). The Company employs c. 35 FTEs and operates 5 datacentres in Munich, all connected via its own fiber-backbone.

We have continued to develop the business in our partnership with the latest addition being Greimel Datacenter GmbH in November 2017.
